This was fun and challenging! Had a bit trouble in the beginning until I realized I had to place my fingers along the BNM keys :P
I think I actually had the most difficulty figuring out which option was selected on the UI lol
(The little orange guy is also very cute and reminds me of Waddle Dee)

Really nice idea. Would be nice if the ladder did not have a collision on the top part.
Very original entry. Arrow up key wouldn't climp ladders, but W did so switched to WASD. Maybe the first phase should be a little easier so players can find a rhythm before the difficulty ramps up.
Ah my mistake, annoying I didn't catch that earlier. And yeah, it was hard to judge the difficulty without playtesters, it could do with tweaking a bit.
This was fun. I tried climbing the ladder while it was still spawning, and I got stuck midway and drowned.
Odd, I can't seem to replicate that. Do you think you were running at a lower FPS?
I don't think so. I got a considerable beefy laptop
