Oh no! Hard is as far as I could go. I came last everytime for this difficulty 😂

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. It was initially tied up with the speed, but I ran out of time to micromanage its motion at high speeds, so made it run on a constant speed instead. I'll make it better next time I upload an update. Thanks for playing my game!

Looking forward to SignoNitori's stream myself. I've been watching his stream recordings for other games. He's very good at analysing game structure.

Anyway, I know what you mean. I've got a mac from the company I work for. Using keyboard for anything in there is not enjoyable.

Hi Alienturnedhuman! Thanks for the feedback!  Hope you enjoyed it. This was my first game, so it took me too long to get the character movements to feel good. I worked on the level on the very last day, so it's not planned well. I hope to get back after the jam and add more mechanics that I had to let go due to time constraints, and get better at level design.

Although, I can tell you the last "stage" is mostly goofy wall jumps. Also, there is a shortcut to the last stage ;)

I don't know how to replicate this, but it was stuck at a corner mid-jump and couldn't get out until I moved back a bit.

Is that so? Guess that makes sense now. My bad! We can be certain I'm not fit for piloting on curves 😆

Hi TrolledWoods, thank for the feedback. That's a good idea and fits with the story too. Programs might "fall" (in activity) due to cpu spikes but never die. I'll add that to the game once the jam is over.

Been wanting to try since it popped up in discord on the first day. It's a novel idea and I loved the controls. Pretty hard to get used to but make sense. I used keyboard controls to make it easy for myself. It's a good game, and the sound effects for picking and dropping items were funny. Reminded me of a convenience store for some reason.

Great game! Quite a task to make it in java. Fun and fast pace game that made me keep playing. Nice!

Also, that soundtrack was a great touch. It added weird stress to the game when things sped up

Amazing work! Looks very real. As real as interstellar made it look after writing research papers on it. Missing the whole "you are doomed" vibe and glow tho

This is an amazing game! I loved how your deamon gets stuck under a platform sometimes and if it does, you can't move after a certain distance. Amazing attention to detail

Which wall jump are you stuck on? Kat's stuck on the second one before the bottomless pit "stage"

Yeah, that was the intended story element. Wall jump is very automated so I changed a few things to throw off players. You can get past with the right speed and position.

Thanks for playing! Hopefully you liked it!

Reminded of one of those arcade games I used to play as a kid. I know it's not always possible, but this game would have been more fun if it had some goofy sound effects

I'm terrible at this type of games, but god is it programmed well. Nice work!

Great game! Everything I want to say is already been said. Dope!

Curiosity got the better of me. I pressed 4. Something lives in my ear now.

Hahahaha! I'm playing Tom and Jerry here! I swear, if I don't move from a place to lure the mouse near, it circles me or jump on my face to tease me or something.

Seriously, though, it's all adorable and fun. The mouse sounds are cute enough to make you want to follow it and irritable enough to make you want to pounce at it. Loved it! Super!

Such an interesting game! Well thought gameplay and charm that make me want to play more

I don't think so. I got a considerable beefy laptop

That is one terrifying way to end the game. I panicked for a sec. Have to say it was quite a unique game and I enjoyed it. I did notice that meteors speed was tied to player's speed. It made it easy to dodge but felt artificial in a way.

That is cool! A spiced up asteroid with twisting gravity. Nice

I was getting the same error. Try using Windows executable with wine, that worked for me

I see. I replayed it and finally crossed it. Have to say, it's fun to run around. I hope the you can update it later with a bigger map

Never thought I would drive something so cute. Sound effects were on point too. Enjoyed it. Definitely best as a multiplayer

Fun and enjoyable! Nice one

Very engaging, and I kept playing even though I hate puzzles. THAT IS A SATISFYING GAME!

Simple and fun. Great graphics and nicely executed. Good job

Loved the vibe, sound and the gameplay. Nice one

The concept seems interesting, but I don't understand how to play this game

I meant right after launch on start page, if I don't start the game game after loading right away sometimes the input would stop working (maybe because I used wine, don't know). It was good apart from that!

Cool idea and a fun game. Bravo

It's good. I like the style too.

This project is too grand for a 9-day jam, but I like the spirit. If this is your first game jam, and you managed to implement this in time, you are a star

A cuter version of chrome's dinosaur game! Great graphics and controls were smooth. I loved it.

By the way, Kohane reminded me of Agnus from despicable me. Made it more interesting

Interesting and fun. Although some instructions would be nice

This was fun. I tried climbing the ladder while it was still spawning, and I got stuck midway and drowned.

Graphics are nice, and the gameplay is good. I think the run and turn speed needs a little adjusting. And as Kapendev said, I did get lost a lot while playing

Enjoyed it. For some reason, the controls were leaning to the left a bit too much. By the way, nice twist adding jumps based on beats. I panicked the first time it happened

The game was good.  Motion of the camera while running was too much, though. Also, UI was non-responsive multiple times on launch. Not sure what's happening there
