Really cool and fun game! Great character conversations, amazingly consistent and cool art style and pallette, fun interactions.
I would say some direction or reminders on which way the character should go could come in handy, I found myself confused at points as to what to do next.
And as Skar0ps mentioned, the fights can get repetitive, especially at the beginning against the slimes when there's only one fight option so they player just has to keep spamming that until the slime dies.
Excellent game !
I was not ready to play such a big game for a game jam that only lasted one month , impressive !
The amount of dialogue ( and hilarious conversations ) is astounding.
I'm a big fan of your pixel art , the grass seems a bit too bright though , it's in steep contrast with the gameboy palette of every other sprites.
The fights are a little too repetitive , especially with the sewer slimes , fighting every slimes becomes excruciating when my character is underleveled.
I liked the humor of the game , and the different dialogues depending on how drunk we are.
Grinding and lack of directions is the only thing i could say hindered the experience , my only strategy when fighting was spamming the C button as soon as the fight starts so i can get as much experience as i need to destroy the rest of the slimes without using a third of my lifespan to get out of the sewers.
Amara is a great character !
I liked how she could read for me when i was not able to read signs before , that's really good !
The character designs are great , i love how the enemies look !
Overall i'm a big fan of your game , i like the concept and the greek references , the different monster designs (fights are more or less the same) , the amazing characters, and the different dialogues.
Hats off to you for making such a great game in such a short time , congratulations !
I'm glad i got to play it !
