This is so sweet. I included it in my Nordic Game Jam Online compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

i like the narration and it worked well with the pixel art that you implemented.

Thank you! I agonized a lot over the readability of each sprite based on whether a certain pixel was there or not, so I'm glad it worked for you!

I really enjoyed the narrative. Even though I don't enjoy pixel games, this was super nice.

Developer

It's always very good to hear that I got someone to enjoy something they usually don't, wow. Thanks!

I loved almost every bit of it. Whether it's quarantine and the desperate need of human touch but I found the story beautiful. Also very nice dialogue. Short bits of text easily parsed. Great work. Thanks for making it.

Thank you! I intended to make a game NOT about corona, but I guess you can read it that way! As I wrote, I realized that the reason why Tyler is so amazed by being physically together with Oliver is because they were having a long-distance relationship up to that point, but there was never a natural way to introduce that into the dialogue, and I thought it was okay to leave it unsaid. That being said, I'm really happy you liked the dialogue! Worked really hard to make every line fit into the two lines of the text box XD

Thank you for your comment!

What an experience! I really enjoyed your story telling, the simplicity of the game and its aesthetics, really well done!

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked the story, I've been wanting to turn that song into some kind of story for a long time!

Really nice experience with a cool (hot) twist. Encaptured intimacy and everyday magic really well.
