• Thanks for joining our jam! I thought the gameplay was very unique and interesting, being able to play as a detective and set up a cork board like you would see in movies and tv shows was very interesting. However, the controls weren't quite intuitive, I would have trouble sometimes picking up articles, looking at them, and connecting threads when I didn't want to be. I didn't exactly know how to stop threading articles together other than clicking randomly until it simply stopped. I also was not able to figure out how to remove threads, if I accidentally threaded two articles together. It made it difficult to organize the board properly. The game does run smoothly, and the overall interface is good. I had a problem with filling out the missing spaces on the letter, I was not able to click on the murder method, and the UI for the choices was too close to the letter, you could potentially click on one of the other blanks by accident, which would also open up that UI and they would layer over each other. The visuals of the game are very unique, and I loved that the whole thing was about mob bird families. It felt very noir. However, the text was difficult to read at times, the choppy text on some of the articles made it take much more effort to read than it probably should have, and I had a lot of trouble reading the italicized portions. Overall though, I liked the style of the different articles and the overall vibe going on. The sound effects were also on point, but the lack of music was definitely apparent. I think if it weren't for these issues, it would have been a lot more fun to play. Pair that with more cases, and there would definitely be something fun here.
