I really liked this game a lot. The graphics are cartoony but very nice. The cutscenes and title screen were awesome. I really liked the upgrade system too, kind of metroidvania-ish in that regard. The music was fantastic and very fitting. I was encountering a fair amount of bugs, but that is to be expected with a game of this complexity. I am sure you will get them ironed out as you continue to work on it.  Great job!

Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate it. Glad you liked it. Unfortunately it looks like there might be a few bugs in the module I'm using. Joe said that a lot of weird stuff could happen in the metrovania module. I didn't have much time to bug test before ByteOff, but both graphics and gameplay will be polished in the near future. Also I will be seriously bug hunting ;)

Really cool concept and has potential. I've been trying to figure out how to get warps like that on one screen. The music is amazing as well. Great job! I have a son as well so I could relate :D

Thanks for the feedback. I "cheated" a little on the warps. I made four separate warp tiles for that room ;)

Great cutscene images, font, music! I like the cartoony style of the world but there's still good depth to the character. Zemitex is a bad dude. I like the four time travel options. Love the cute miner animations.

Very fun. I like the fact that the different times have the same setup with changes that took place over time. I have not beaten it yet. I had the firepower and the shoes and hit a glitch and ended up in the blank screens. Will definitely be trying this one again.

yeah I found that mainly the simple scroll scripts have an issue where it just deleteds a line of map data like a 16 by 16 strip, but other than that it’s pretty fun

needs a little more bug testing, i keep getting hit outa no where and some times the floor falls out beneth me and sent me to the shadow relm aka unused map data

Yes. I know. Thank you for the feedback. I'm wondering if some of the bugs are in the NESmaker module I'm using. If you read the manual there's a little line about this ;)
