Love the graphics and interesting concept you got here with the random fights. Would love to see you progress through the house. Maybe have an attic floor, basement, outside area to give it a little more variety.
This was right up my alley. I love the dark tone and the melding of multiple genres. The melee combat felt pretty damn smooth too. Loved the RNG aspect of it too, it makes every playthrough different. Graphics were amazing and that intro screen is beautiful. Great job!

Brawler mixed with spooky exploration, at least as far as I got. Nice!
Your use of animations, cutscenes, etc. is innovative. I get some Nightmare on Elm Street vibes from this. The battles are difficult but an interesting mechanic. Overall, very impressed. I did get stuck in a room when a ghost ran away, I must have scared him!
Love the animated tiles and mood. The controls were pretty difficult for me but I guess that's par for the course on NES.
