In 2017, I did NaNoGenMo. In 2018, I did NaNoLiPo. In 2019, you better believe I'm doing NaNoTwiMo!

The stimulus is "Write What You Know". When it comes to games, I know platformers. So I guess that's what I'm doing!

Can't wait to see everyone's submissions.

"When it comes to games, I know platformers. So I guess that's what I'm doing!"

Heh... Now I kind of want to see a text-based platformer:

You see ahead of you a gap and then another platform part-way across, and elevated above, that gap.  Above that platform is yet another platform, but this one has a guard walking back and forth across it.

"Jeez, I wonder if that guy has to do all of this ridiculous jumping to get up there for work every day," you think to yourself.

Do you:

- Run and jump at the edge of the gap up to the next platform.

- Run and jump from a bit further back, trying to double-jump up to the next platform.

- Walk up to the edge and cautiously look down to see if you see any easier-to-get-to platforms below.

(Just kidding, by the way.  I know Twine lets you do more than just text, this was just what popped into my head when you mentioned making a platformer for this.)

I kinda want to see that now too, HiEv! It could be hilarious.

"Goomba will remember that".

Unfortunately, this has all collided with my end of Semester, insane amount of marking, so might not have time to finish this project by the deadline. I'll still get it done, just might be late. Completed my first "level" and got a couple of the other ones written text-wise, just got to convert it into Twine stuffs...
