Fun game with good graphics! Movement was too fast for me. But anyway game is good.

movement is too fast :/ . Cool pixel art :)

Developer

Thanks and yeah, you have a point!

Cool art and fun music.  The controls were way too slippery for me though.  Made it very difficult for some of the tight jumps.  Overall pretty good game though!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The slipperiness / speed / controls seem to be an issue for multiple people, will work on that (maybe in future games)

player too fast i think. audio and visual good. idea is intresting! good luck in other projects and jams.

(3 level is very hard for me)

Developer

Thank you, you too! The third level is (too) tedious indeed, I probably would leave out the spikes next time.

Some feedback:
I think the player goes too fast, but what i dislike the most is that it doesn't keep its momentum when jumping
I'd rather use arrow keys (right hand) for movement and space for jump, would have make it easier for me
the magic mole is unpredictible and makes it hard to jump on it

the 2nd level design might be too hard for a 2nd level ^^
+1 for godot ;p

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! You all have a good point with the player speed and feeling. The arrow keys are a good tip, I can easily put them in next time :) (And I am very happy with Godot at the moment, just great to use in my opinion)

The way the Magic Mole works is really clever! I like the music. I wish there was different music for each level, but I understand that that's hard for a 2 day game jam. Anyway, I like it!

Developer

Thanks! I agree, that would have been nice!

It was a nice little platformer. It took me longer than I care to admit to work out how the mole worked! I thought that was clever.

I did struggle with getting through the door though. Keep it up!

Developer

Thank you, great that you liked it :) I am quite happy with it.  And I will definitely work on intuitivity in my games, additionally, I think I forgot to explain the mole in the description. Thanks for playing and the feedback!

You are a novice developer, am I right?) Praise for the released game. Here, of course, there is still a lot where you can do better, whether it's the physics of movement, or jumps. Or let's say an adaptive layout of the interface (when I expanded it to full screen, my buttons were beyond the bottom of the screen). The mole idea is really interesting. Good luck)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yes, I am quite new, you got that right :) Especially with game jams and the like. Thank you! And yeah, there is still room for improvement, but I guess that's common. Appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!
