Quite an enjoyable tactical game with an XCOM feel! The starting point actually has a decent context to show the numbers of each robot, plus even a target practice range that demonstrates windows and line of sight, I’m impressed!
As for criticism, it wasn’t intuitive at first that the objective was to kill all humans. In fact, the humans aren’t properly aligned with the tiles, so I was a bit confused by why my robots aren’t attacking before I saw the % hit chance number. There also needs to be a clearer indicator on which robot has no more moves left, or how many moves they have left - right now it seems like there’s a dark blue square, but it’s inconsistent and doesn’t show up all the time. Also, I tried moving into a wall and the pathfinding kind of went elsewhere; perhaps you can just prevent the move if the player tries to do that. The art also needs some spicing up, the walls for example don’t really resemble a wall, it didn’t feel like I was in a building because some of the walls are not really connected.
Overall, I enjoyed playing it and managed to beat the level. It’s already quite cool as it is, but I’m sure it will be even more awesome if it is polished more in the future. Good job!
Damn this looks really cool. I think I eventually figured out how to work it and fight which was pretty awesome, but I wasn't exactly sure what to do like the others. With some polish and more time (and no limitation) this could be a lot of fun I think!
What i should do?
cool game. controls a bit hard tho
i liked the concept, but it's hard to understand how the game works, the color you used worked well and i really liked the sound effects, but a background music, sounding like mario+rabbids would be cool.
i think you'd add a tutorial on this game, because it's not intuitive at all
