great art, music and mouth sfx! the character movement is smooth and the game presentation is well made, enjoyed playing it!
thank you! :*
I agree turrets are very fast and shoot too quickly when they see you. Once you collect the staff clicking the world should always shoot, took me a while to figure out how to combat the turrets. Maybe add a little "prepare to shoot" animation to let the player know in advance when the turret is about to shoot, and maybe let them reload after 5 shots?
Pressing the numbers should be reserved for potion use.
Can be a neat little game if you put in some more patrolling enemies and stuff^^
Thank you for your time!
An reloading animation to show when the turrets are ready is something I will do!
game looks very polished, looks great! But it's just very hard too, I can't get past the second floor, these cannons are fast and too accurate. Great game overall :D
Thank you! :]
It looks great. The game is presented quite well and feels polished though it goes against the rule of the game jam where text is not allowed even in the menus. Gameplay-wise, it needs more spicing up - more than just having stationary turrets as enemies. Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
I wanted to add more enemies, items, levels and all that. But sadly I ran out of time. Thinking about continuing on the game and doing it better.
I might have been thinking too much about not including text, that I forgot about the menu!
