It looks cool, but I was honestly lost as to how to win this. Some mimics blocked pathways and I had no idea how to beat them to pass through. The chargers were hard to dodge since the paths are long and only one block tall.

It’s a pretty cool idea and I like the funny art and the audio effects.

I agree. The charging monsters that growl are so fast that even if you know how they work, it seems impossible to dodge them.

They are impossible to dodge without shoes or pickaxe, that's intentional. Is this good game design? Er... maybe?

Having them impossible to dodge without a power-up wouldn't be that much of an issue if there wasn't also no way to anticipate/avoid them. Imagine playing the game for the first time and suddenly there's an enemy that is absolutely impossible to dodge because you haven't found the right item, and you're forced to take damage. To a player playing your game for the first time, that's a profoundly unfun moment, and is likely to leave a very sour first impression if your game.

Took me a while to get the concept and difference between mimics and the items, but after a while I won the game. The concept is great, easily the most creative of the entries I played so far, but hard to grasp. I enjoyed the game, but it was super stressful, especially dealing with the chargers.

I don't really understand what is a good thing, and what is a bad thing... I'm a bit confused :(

Yeah, I should've been less subtle and less convoluted with mimics

Mimics move up and down faster than normal items and howl in higher pitch. Also, if you have item, say, lamp, another lamp on map is a mimic, and all audio receivers which are not protected by chargers are mimics as well
