So the game looked nice and it was cool to play but I wish I had more control over Skelly. I just ended up floating through the sky killing everything. I also feel like the weapon variety was nice but pretty useless, I tried the various weapons but i saw no point in using the revolver when the rifle was that but faster and more convenient to shoot with. I definitely think this would be a really good game but not with the 2 button limitation, the shooting hitting and execution felt rewarding but it was just kinda auto piloted.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback :)

Yeah, I kinda agree, that the rifle was the best which made the others obsolete. There is a difference in damage and the amount of spray for all weapons though. The idea was that the revolver is the most accurate and does most damage, shotgun sprays a lot but if all bullets hit it does the most damage and the rifle shoots fast but is a little more inaccurate and does not as much damage as the revolver. So you would use a particular weapon based on the enemy. I'd probably need to play more with the numbers so the other weapons are more viable.

Its nice but I found it a bit hard to control, also liked the style.

The controls are great but quite difficult, I guess slowing down the speed a bit more when you hold RMB would be better to have more control of the player. Loved the visuals tho, and a pretty kewl concept too! :D

Initially I wanted that the cursor returns back to the position where it was when you first pressed the RMB and not to change direction when you release it, but it somehow broke when I changed the project resolution ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you :)

Is there a healthbar ? If yes you should show it or it seems we're invincible! Good job nonetheless, especially for a first jam!

Developer

Yes, the player is the healthbar, if you get hit you turn red and become more and more invisible until you disappear when the health points reach 0. Thank you very much :)

Nice concept but does it fit the theme?

Developer

Since the theme was not a requirement I was very liberal with its' interpretation. The game has a halloween theme and since you get sweets on halloween it, kiiiinda fits if you think around the corner ^^
