I can't get the ship to move. Why aren't the controls wasd or arrow keys? It's good that there is background ambience, though you might to turn it up a little.

Developer

Hmm, controls should indeed be mapped to WASD/arrow keys, along with whatever the Unity defaults are for the Vertical and Horizontal axes. Is this occurring right from the very beginning of the level? Or are you getting the boat stuck on an island?

Right from the beginning that the boat lands in the water. Well on the water, since the bottom doesn't actually go into the water.

So, what were the controls mapped to?

Developer

I can confirm that the controls are mapped to WASD and Arrow Keys, at least for me. The boat is only allowed to turn when its velocity is not zero, so left and right won’t do anything without first using forward to gain some speed. I hope this helps some. Otherwise, I’m at a loss as to why you’re able to start the game using Spacebar but unable to move using WASD.

Even better when you launch Deja Vu in the background.

I like the looks of the islands and the enjoyed the rush of getting all the cargo. The ship didn't really mesh with the style of the land much, and it might of been cool if the ship continuously moved forward, just to land that ship feel a bit more. Good entry tho! and cool islands!

I like the concept. One thing that would be cool to see is pirate ships that steal cargo from the player.
