A good idea but the movement was very janky and unresponsive. Loved the mario animation
The movement is a bit janky, especially when hitting the edge of the screens, the whale kind of just sits there for a while glitching. The art is nice, and I like the vibe of the game. I like the small whale.
The movement felt unresponsive and it freaks out a bit if you hit the corners. It would also be nice to have indicators at the sides of the screen to warn when kril are about to appear, otherwise if a seaweed spawns there you may just get unavoidably hit.
The art and music are great, and the game over screen got a genuine laugh out of me!
Nice game! I think the main thing holding it back was that the movement is a bit janky making moving around not that fun and dodging stuff hard
