Good game my only critique is the time to reload the weapon, its just a little bit slow for me, but it could be a really great game with few upgrades, really good for less than 1 week of work.

Great concept!

The art is a bit inconsistent, since the skeletons are pixelart, but the UI from the upgrades is not.

But the game is pretty fun! I like the way you applied the collosal enemy limitiation, it was a fun way to add a bit of originality to top-down shooters

Sadly we were unable to get an artist on our team so we had to scrounge for whatever random open source top down assets we could find.  In that sense, you're right about the aesthetic lacking direction.  But thanks for playing!

Good game . . I would also advise to make the pixel size same of all characters (the player and larger enemies, boss look very different). I made the same mistake.

Developer

Unfortunately the artwork was kind of slapped together as we lacked a dedicated artist and had to borrow a menagerie of random open source top down assets instead.  The enemies were all from the same pack and had the same dimensions in pixels so we just had to work with that so we could focus on the coding.

It was really fun to play. I loved how i can upgrade character per round. Also, huge boss comming after us was impressive way to make players move forward and made game more difficult to play.

Glad you had fun playing!

Great Idea and was fun to play.

I would have loved to see a better enemy scaling, like scaling their speed, attack rate (for the ranged dude) and maybe even physical size.
Great work

Thank you for the feedback!  Most of these ideas crossed my mind during development (as well as more enemy variety) and would have been implemented with just a little more time.
