The animated menu is captivating, and I really enjoyed the song choice. While the mechanics are straightforward, they align seamlessly with the gameplay. You've done a commendable job!
The game feels really nice to play with that background music! Also, it's cute how sometimes the exploding sound effect matches with the song's beat, it almost feels like playing a rhythm game.
Nice job! The graphics are very nice! Just as a note (maybe you already know this and just didn't have time) having sprites scaled different amounts on the same "plane" looks a little jarring. Especially when there is a big difference between pixel sizes like there is between the whale and the shark or the shrimp. Other than that, I had fun playing!

I didn't have time to make the whale properly and animate him . Thanks for playing.Nice endless game. Great art style and the music was fitting too.
Although you should keep the size of the pixels constant otherwise it feels like you took several different assets. For example a whale has less total pixels than a shark.
Another comment, your objects are all on the same layer, therefore sharks can randomly appear behind whales. You could put whales on the lowest layer and in the layer above the sharks etc.
Nevertheless I enjoyed your game :D
