A really fun shmup! And I'm honestly pretty surprised by how fleshed out and complete it is considering it was made in just a few days. Especially with multiple difficulty levels and everything. This is really good!

A few crackers, but not that much. It was also just during the time frame, not while actively developing. Hope that helps! - Echo

Nice, fast-paced experience. The pixel-art looks good! In the beginning I was overwhelmed (left/right/soot/shield - already too much for the Tiger ;-)) But then I spotted a certain pattern and "cheated" my way to victory ;-) But hey, defending is a serious task - if you are successful, everyone is happy, and nobody asks :-D
I once also implemented a Space Invaders clone - it is one of two examples for my programmable game console. Maybe you want to give it a try?
Hahaha yeah the management-thingy between the different islands was one of the main ideas to make it a bit more challanging. But as you said it's unfortunately very easy to cheat, but hey, It's a jam game after all. I will definitely check out your projects later, thanks a ton for your feedback and for sharing your experience :) Maybe I'll even release a few updates in the next couple of weeks to fix some of the issues, so stay tuned ^^
this was a very enjoyable space invaders but with boat -- great concept and well executed
Pretty fun game, I played all three levels and i really like how the game makes you prioritize different cannons. God game design is about giving the player interesting choices and I feel like you did that very well. My only bit of feedback is that the 1st two difficulties are a bit to easy once you've cleared out the initial enemy ships. (this is because the next set of enemies will only spawn from one side so you can kind of just spam the the cannon). I think special credit has to be given for making the cannon shooting feel so fun. The game is good presentation wise, I always understood what i was looking at. The sounds and soundtrack were also well done. Overall, I had a good time! Thank you for sharing your game.
A very nice little game with a fun concept and an entertaining music ! I did all three levels and I had fun! I was a bit sad to see that the score calculation does not work, but I had a lot of fun. The game might be a little easy when there is only one island left, but I think other people already said so. Maybe giving a bonus score the more island the player keeps alive?
Overall, very good job, loved the game :)
Wooow that's super nice to hear!! Like you said a few other people already pointed out that the score calculation gets a little messed up at times. But I’ll definitely learned out of the difficulty balancing problems with this game and will consider it next time! Thanks again for playing and for your feedback :)
Cool arcade game! Had fun playing it, could be cool to add some upgrades for the islands. Still very nice
Really nice concept, but i think if there would have been some kind of cooldown to shoot it would be a bit harder. Because i tried to save all my island but when there was only on left i just spammed space. But still a very nice Game!
Pretty fun. I managed to beat both the medium and hard difficulty, but for some reason my score shows as 0 :(
I enjoyed the gameplay though. The concept is cool and those ship sprites are neat. Good job!
Thanks a ton for playing, really means a lot to me :) Sorry for the bug though, I don’t really know why this happened as I never encountered it during playtesting, but I’ll take a look if I should continue working on the project. And good job with beating all the difficulties, I found them petty tough myself!
Really liked the premises of the game and played it for some time. Notieced that even in full screen (HTML) I didn't see everything and had scroll bars. And the first time I played, I only got 4 enemies and then nothing happened while the countdown continued. Would like to see it evolved though, like the idea! :)
