Good work!

Thank you, we appreciate you checking out our game! It was a lot of fun to build!

Gameplay is solid. The difficulty curve may be a little steep, but I prefer it this way. The characters look and animate well, and if you add backgrounds and sounds, you won't be able to tell it from a paid game. Good work!

Quite high praise! Thank you very much! We were going for a challenging, engaging and rewarding gameplay loop. You really *feel* yourself getting more adept at the timing each loop.

I still can't beat the second horde of skeletons, they're so fast!

Cool. Mage casting fish is fun.  Shield as reflection is intresting. Maybe highscore mechanic make game a bit better.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing, the mage casting an ice fish is indeed super fun, credit to poliwag and his very expressive pixel art. Agreed on showing a score, or another way to track your progress and make the game more re-playable, just didn't have time to implement it!

Loved it. Seeing each new enemy and they're projectile was fun and cool, and you paced it really nicely so I could see a bunch of them, but not all at once. The mechanic was unique and interesting but also easy to pick up and get the hang of. Having enemies hit each other really made the difficulty seem more fair. I thought this was really cool

Appreciate the kind words, thanks for playing! The idea of having the cannoneer just blow through all of the smaller enemies in front of it just appealed to me so much.

Super Cool I Love The Shield Mechanic I Didnt even think of a timing window for the use of the limitation very good game

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We knew we wanted to think of a challenging timing or positioning mechanic even before the limitation was announced, so I'm glad the interpretation works!
