Nice conceptm the kickback feels really great, the controls are quite good, definetly speedrunnable IMO. Well done!
Btw I got a bug where I didn't die falling between pikes in the third or fourth level.

That's a really fun little game. I really like the graphics and the effect you put in there. Though it's quite hard for the first-time player. Took me a while to figure out using jump and shotgun to pass the first obstacle in the first level (or maybe 'cause I'm pretty bad at game 🤣), but I think the game is absolutely more fun if it has a little more in adjusting the difficulty of the level.
Anyway, wish you the best for the jam.
This game is great! The use of the shotgun is excellent and the control of the game feels great. My one complaint is that it seemed like when I died while holding a move key, I continued to move that direction after respawning. I love love love the video filter over the game!
Thank you! Were you playing in windowed or fullscreen? I've experienced the same issue, and I think it's caused by the cursor being outside the game window when the level resets, so the game loses focus and keeps repeating the last input, which unfortunately means I can't do anything about it because it's caused by engine. If you play in fullscreen it should fix the issue. If it still occurs in fullscreen, then my guess is wrong and I need to scan through the code. Thank you for the feedback!
