I think a better level select menu and making the enemy deal a bit less damage would improve the game, but great job!
I like the concept, the enemies i thought were cute when i first saw them, and seem way to overpowering!. Good work! The sounds, when theres alot of enemies, or everytime the sound repeats when you die, gets a bit annoying though.
Will definitely make the death sound less irritating in the future, as well as keeping in mind sound stacking to prevent loud/annoying audio when many of the same sound overlaps.

I loved it! But I think you should give an option to control the character with the left and right arrows and space too! It's easier for some people like me :)
Good news! If you go into the settings menu, you can rebind the keys!
Click on the key you want to change and then press the key that you want to map to.
The text in the levels unfortunately won't change, but the key bindings do!

It was perfect now! The animation for the enemies is super cool! Especially when attacking!
I love how everything looks, however the sounds are alot, and the enemies are very overpowering, even after you learn to kill them.
Thanks for your comment! Game balance is difficult for game jams so we added some difficulty options.
If you go into the settings menu, you can select a difficulty mode more suited to you!
