I really like aesthetic of your game. The messed up graphic is really working on horror value. But if you would add background sounds the atmosphere of the game would be a banger
I did actually add some but unfortunately I am pretty sure it is too quiet lol
I think this could be a really neat horror game! I love the messed up themes going on, and I think it could serve for some good dark moments! the main problem is how tedious the gameplay is, you don't really get an idea of what to do, which wouldn't be too bad if granny wasnt too slow af, and the constant switching it's really frustrating, and sadly I couldn't complete it, I really wanted to but I got frustrated
Another thing is I didn't like having to constantly switch between the lantern and the car parts. I think what would've been neat is a RE like inventory, but with one thing at a time, still requires you to loose the light but doesn't force you to constantly drop and pick up. Overall I think you got the foundation for a really solid and potentially amazing horror game, i hope you do work on it more and tweak up some of the designs here, it can be a really dark and fun game! good work!
I downloaded and tried to play it but it wouldnt' open. After downloading I unzipped and startet the exe, am I doing something wrong?
Yeah you have to unzip it and run the .exe

okay so I went on my big PC, was on my laptop before. Maybe it was the antivirus? idk.
So about your game: I think the concept is really interesting, I also love the theme and the asthetic and setting. The paper like sprites look really good.
Some feedback on the game itself: First the intro not being skipable is really annoying, I had to wait over and over when I died. Also the walking speed is really slow. I understand the horror mechanic of it but it took so long to go from one place to another and having to juggle the lightsource and the car item only adds up. And lastly when the guy was shooting at me I started running into the darkness to hide, but still died. Sometimes I didnt really know what I did wrong when I died and it felt like I was just unlucky and ran into him.
Still Cool idea and also the gameplay itself is cool, its just very slow and annoying to fail. This gives it less a trial and error vibe and it looked like I made some obvouis mistake.
