Hello, everyone!
I am writing to appeal the disqualification of my entries. I submitted two games: "Alien Logic Split" (HTML5) and "Alien Logic: Double or Nothing [MiniScript]".
I understand they might look similar at a glance, but they are not duplicates:
Codebase: One is written in JavaScript, the other is a complete port written from scratch in MiniScript (a different language entirely).
Visuals & Audio: While sharing the same retro aesthetic, the MiniScript version features distinct graphics and procedural audio implemented specifically for the Mini Micro engine's architecture, making it a unique variation compared to the HTML5 version.
Explicit Labeling: The cover art and description clearly state "Miniscript" to avoid confusion.
My goal was to challenge myself by implementing the "Double or Nothing" mechanics in two completely different environments.
Please reconsider reinstating them, as they represent two separate technical achievements.
Thank you for your attention🤗
