Warm like home, the art style is soo pretty! Sadly I couldnt play a long run, because I lost all my money in my first bet lol
Yes thats what happens when you have gamble heart haha. Thats why I implemented try again button that skips the intro cutscene and you can play again :)
The intro was cute. I think the probabilities for the slot machine are too low. I only won a couple of times :(
Thanks :) Yes the odds are little below 50% for both slots and the roulette so it resembles the gambling struggles irl.

The art was really nice, and the warm, consistent style made the game feel rather cosy. I wish there were a couple of sound effects in the game. For example, the slot machine would feel much more impactful if it made a lot of noise and then beeped to tell you if you had won or lost.
Also, we both decided to make a game about a bug casino. Excellent choice :)
Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you with the sounds, unfortunately the slot machine was implemented just before the deadline, so I did not have time to polish :(

wow, such a cool vibe this game has, if you added some sound effects for the games it could be a good cozy game

Liked the animation of the money lender's goons showing up.
Took me a while to notice that the Play button on the slot machine isn't disabled while the slot machine is spinning... The machine ate loads of my acorns since I was double clicking :D
Liked the general cozy feel of the style though there were places where the "AI:ness" of it really showed.
Glad you enjoyed my game and reached a good ending! Yes, the AI is a great tool for a programmer doing game jam alone haha, although I just generated one image as an idea and then all the art edited in editors. Thanks for the feedback.
