Loved the concept and visuals are beautiful and well polished. Controls could use some tweaking. The jumps feel hard to control sometimes, you slide when landing (maybe that's supposed to be implied ice?) and if you jump while up against a wall, you go up in the air, but the arrow keys won't work, like it thinks you're against the wall the whole jump even if you're in open air.

I really like the idea of your game!
As mentioned by anyone else, I would suggest a little control over your movement while jumping.
I kind of feel like i'm frog-leaping everywhere xP

Ooh, I love the idea and the representation! I can't get past the 4th campfire lol. It's kinda hard without air control when you jump. Besides that, great submission!

I've managed to reach some distant campfires, but then I fell on the third campfire and lost my checkpoint haha

Only one thing frustrated me a little, that was the absence of movement in the air while jumping, it makes things a lot harder.

Agree with ztx on the controls, even if you could give the player a small bit of movement in the air.

Great pixel art, very interesting game design

I like this game, it would be even better if the player could grow up a bit

But there is a small issue, players are unable to move left and right in the air, which makes the operation somewhat uncomfortable
