I loved the simple art and the time travel to the past/future mechanic, good job!

Ok that was a super cool implementation of the theme. I love the idea of exploring what happened in the past to help me in the future. It did get a little bit wonky when thinking about if my character is the horseman returned or whatever and other such time travel shennanigans, but I still enjoyed it a lot. I think what really stood out to me though was just the world itself, the people were all so vibrant and active. I don't know if I imagined it or not, but I swear I saw some people taking turns running up a hill and sliding down it. :P I am slightly upset that that damn cat got my reward though, I definitely saved the cat.

Anyway, some feedback:

- It took me an embarassingly long time to figure out that jump and speed up were the same button. For some reason I was imagining holding the jump button down like a spring coiling up, so I would get right next to what I wanted to jump over, hold down the button for a bit, and then release.I think it wasn't until I had to jump over the bridge gap that it finally clicked for me.

- It was a bit counterintuitive that people were telling me to visit the hotels but the ability to use the hotel doesn't show up until you reach the big rock. I explored everywhere else before going to Mountain City (as any normal player obviously would) and so I was a bit lost when 1) went through the cave and nothing happened and 2) eventually got to the big rock and felt like I couldn't do anything else. I figured it out in the end though.

- I ran into a game breaking bug at one point that forced me to reset. As the horseman I died just after Uphill City and respawned in the ground under the hotel. I wasn't about to get out.

But I did really enjoy this, it felt like a world that I just wanted to explore and interact in. The clean graphics, the amusing people, the thrill of just riding my bike through the desert. Great job!

I love the take on the theme and the metroidvania structure! A really unique movement made it entertaining to get around - though the jumping felt strange to charge up without a visual, especially with the double jump

Cute art (and a clever way to get around a walk animation) but some fairly basic sound, giving the  truck collision noise some pitch variance would have gone a long way

I defeated the big alien and got 'victory' but nothing happened?

Rescuing the cat was funny but threw me a bit to not get any reward (I figured the cat would let me have it at least haha)

Speech having multiple bubbles took me a while to figure out, could maybe have some pips on the bottom or something to indicate conversation progress

I stole the alien tech before talking about the big rock, so the game told me to go get something I already had

There's definitely some physics quirks (I can hold myself against a wall mid air, if you jump next to trucks they fly into the air with me)

All in all a really cute and creative entry!

This game was just delightful, it was unique while also being incredibly polished and just plain fun to play. Very short but fun all the way through, and I just couldn't get enough of riding around, the controls are so simple and feel so good. Presentation and theme are also great, honestly I just wish there was more because this is the kind of game I'd absolutely play a full version of. Fantastic job!

Really enjoyed myself riding around. The sleeping mechanic was quite fun and I think it helped add a really good depth to the story telling. Not sure if much was to happen after Victory! as I died the moment it happened. did it again and was just riding around having fun not sure what to do. movement and environment felt great. music and art did well together and i loved how cute it was. Great work!

This was one of the more unique games, well put together for what kind of game it is...There was a lot of people to talk to with meaningless information or just as "road signs" as to where you were... I am not how far the game goes, and read some of the comments. I don't think I got as far as I could go, but its cute and harmless funny loving environment and cool vertical biking up and around mountains in the sky and hotels on the cliffs it I give it about3.5/5 and better than handful games I played so far! Will see if I can come back and get further through it

This was such a unique game. I loved the move mechanics and the concept of traveling back and forth in time as a cowboy and a biker. The art was simple and sweet and you had such a surprising amount of npcs. They really filled out the towns and gave life to it. I really dug that. I like the music, although it would have been cool to have this spaghetti western music when on horseback and biker rock when on the motorcycle, but that not really something I'd count against you.

I'm not sure if I beat the game or not. I got the double jump and the homing missiles and beat the boss on top of the alien ship. It said victory and i went back and forth trying to see if there was something I miseed. If I did beat it, it would have been nice to have a clear sign that the game was over. If I didnt beat it, let me know and give me a tip on where I should investigate next.

Dynamic NPC dialogue would have been cool to have. Stuff that updates after you've hit goal points. Like after I destroyed the boulder, the soldiers were still complaining about it. But that's also a pretty big task considering how many npcs you have in your game. In my game, I couldn't even get around to updating the mayor's dialogue each time you rescued a villager.

From what I played, I definitely enjoyed everything about it. Congratulations on a very unique take. I really enjoyed it!

What a neat little game. Great music, art style and gameplay. Just finished it and already want more. But it's so polished and detailed that I understand it being so short due to the jam's deadline.

Great game. Congratulations!

A super nice surprise! Once I got used to the jumping mechanic, I quickly found myself just enjoying the wonderful movement and the soundtrack. Apart from the jump, a rather clever climbing mechanic. Art very unique as well.

Overall, well done! Really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the jump was an interesting experiment. The idea was too mimic that when jumping on a bike, first you press down and then jump and "take the bike with you", but it ended up feeling rather confusing and the effect didn't come through.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
