It's a shame this one isn't complete--I really enjoyed my time with it and would love to see it so!

Developer

Thank you! I wish I could've finished it as well!

Really solid base if you decide to continue it, love the art/theme and music of it, and movement feels really nice! Hope you continue it to a finished game!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'll definitely be considering it!

Love the aesthetics and the music stems coming in with power-ups. I also really like the trail thingy on the player I think it ended up looking really nice for conveying speed. Shame you didn't have more time! Nice job :D

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Agreed, if only I didn't have University I could've done more!

Definitely a cool concept. I believe you mentioned that the background music would slowly be realised depending on the abilities you unlocked - adding stems accordingly. Love the idea and good luck taking it forward!

Developer

Thank you! Yep! That's implemented, just a little harder to notice since I put all of the abilities near each other XD

Cool concept, looks neat and controls fairly well, shame you couldn't finish it :c

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! Agreed!

I think this is a nice start. I really do like the aesthetic and atmosphere. It's just unfortunate that you weren't able to flesh out the map with content. I hope you continue working on this, or something else similar. Plenty of potential there!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I'm definitely gonna work on doing more level design on my next entry!

Good looks and nice feel to the controls. Maybe a little hard to control the dash. I couldn't find the X stardust. :(
A thing I would have like, although you did state there was no time for level design, is having some hint on whether there are spikes below or not. Often I had to take a complete leap of faith and jump down a hole :)

Great work with the protagonist, he feels awesome, and looks nice with the tail that reacts to velocity and stuff.

Hope you find more time for level design and completing the game next time! Keep it up!

Fellow Godot dev here btw. Last MVM I made own engine, but it's so nice to work with Godot instead.

Developer

Yeah, I needed to tweak the dash a little more, my bad! The X stardust was to the right an extra room!

As for the spikes, there was only one set, which had the moving platform over it!

Ah man, absolute shame you weren't able to finish this, will you work on it outside of the jam at least?

Developer(+1)

I will certainly consider it!! Chan and I have an idea for tying together a bunch of things..... if it works out, look forward to it!
