Really neat art style and animations!  Really liked  the action of the climbing axe, though I found it to  be a bit awkward or maybe need more of a reminder on how it works.  Either way it was a blast to play and I hope you keep developing this more.  Good job!

This was a really rewarding game to play! It makes me feel really good when I figure things out about my character and the area which I feel is what the genre is all about!

The character was a cute lil guy with some pretty awesome animations. 

It definitely needs polishing but hey, this is a game jam, and your team did some pretty good work here! I hope you continue to work on this game!!

This game is cute! the main character is such a groovy fellow i really like the way they walk. it had some tricky parts at first i didnt knew were to go until i found i could go to the left and found a castle. 

The axe was tricky to use but once i got the hang of it it was the most fun mechanic. The knifes were also really fun to use overall the sense of exploration is good and the weapons you find really fun to use the only problem is at some point my character was frozen in the air and i was unable to continue playing but overall really really fun :)

It feels nice to move around, but the character is too floaty and too drifty. Increasing the acceleration and the gravity of the player would make the game feel even better to play.

Also, the map has a lot of little tile errors that make the tiles show a 1px separation. It doesn't affect gameplay, but it difinitely makes the game look worse and less professional.

Keep working on it, there are many things that are great, you just need to polish these areas! 😊

Cool concept, the climbing axe needs a bit of work, though. Good game, good job.

Lots of flickering with the levels, and it was so big on my screen had to manually adjust the screen down to see the full game.

I love that climbing axe idea, needs some polishing up, but that mechanic has some legs. the aiming on the knives was a little hard, also could not respawn if I died. Character was nice, add a little padding to your tile set to avoid the lines everywhere! Great start and well done on getting this far already!

I liked the smooth way rooms transition. I didn't like the super floaty jump (I rather more fast paced like Hollow Knight). Also I couldn't find anything else to do after picking up the coin.
