the zoom was a bit wonky on this one (possibly my display is different than yours) its really hard to see the text with it being so small. I saw that you are using godot, you should change the stretch mode to canvas_items if you havent already
Oh good spot, I think it's because I set it to play embedded in Itch and forgot to go back and make sure it works for full screen haha. Firefox doesn't like Itch and messes up embedding things I found
How did you get/mimic stock prices? Red noise generator?
No I wrote an equation that calculates the current stock price based off of a couple factors - the previous price, “public opinion” which is impacted by the news, “volatility” which is pre set for each company, and then randomly generating a “volume” which effects movement too. The public opinion factor gradually gets weaker over time (as the news gets older and older)
Great game, congrats!
I had a LOT of fun playing this game. I love the concept that you came up with and you executed it very well, this game feels polished and fun, good work for a 72 hour jam. Keep up the good work!! (i did get some issues with the viewport). I am super impressed you did all this by yourself in 3 days, except the bell sound effect from pixabay lol
Interesting game. Vere nice sound design
