Congrats on finishing! And more kudos for making something straight out of the adult swim playbook haha. In all seriousness, I have been pretty excited to get to read this one and give thoughts:

  • So... Ted is completely absurd haha. And I love that. I almost wish that he wasn't so specific and the players could fill that in.
  • But I LOVE the odd Toy Story like nature of the Knick Knacks. At least, that's how I assume they are getting around? Regardless, your character creation is great.
  • Not as sold on the insight / influence stats (I like the idea though... maybe needs different name?)
  • I think your resolution phases could be simplified.
  • The narrative of Ted's day for a GM is GREAT!!! And your scenario tables are incredibly strong and hilarious!

Overall, I had a ton of fun reading this. Great job!!!

The concept is fun, though definitely suits a one-shot rather than a campaign, I can't imagine anyone being that invested in a stapler (or the hapless Ted, for that matter)! Also, I'm not really convinced by the influence-insight mechanic, purely because there's no example of this operating in the game.  Why do hero rolls get more difficult as his reputation improves?

That said, it's a complete, playable game with plenty of humour to carry it through the session. The inmate correspondence letters were a nice touch... in fact, it all seems very specific... are you Ted?

Well done on finishing and submitting!
