I didn't really get the sense that I was attacking an enemy, but this is still a fairly fun (and difficult) typing game

Cool idea, and executed well. My brain didn't think quick enough to get a lot of words together, maybe if this is continued after the jam there can be some sort of hints at what words you can spell with the letters you currently have.

Really cool idea! I'd recommend adding more vowels to the letter pool if you plan on updating the game, and maybe some sounds to give a little more player feedback. All in all, good job! Keep up the good work :)
