Can I use Scratch to program my game?

Incase you've never heard of Scratch, scratch.mit.edu is a kids programming brick-by-brick language. I was asking if it's okay to use it for my game? I have a scratch-to-html-to-exe converter, so it'll still be a .exe file like other games.

Probably a question for the host, Ran d'Reille, but I'm not aware of any engine limitations for the jam. Construct, Ren'Py, RPG Maker, and dozens of other game dev software have been used in past jams.

Ran's more active on the Discord server (see the jam main page for the link). I can bring this post to his attention too, if you don't use discord.

I do not see why not. As long as you make a video game anything is welcome. We have had two decent RPG Maker submissions in the past jams; I have no problems with anyone using whatever engine/coding language. Code in Scratch or HTML or Assembly or Machine Language for all I care XP
