At first I didn't quite understand how to play, but then I figured out how to play much better. I really liked the mechanics with a bounce off the wall.

The jumping reminds me of the classic Castlevania games where you had set distances for leaping and getting hit, making it almost a puzzle to solve in order to find the best way to progress to the next platform. The artwork is fantastic especially the backgrounds!

Nice presentation, I'm loving the parallax scrolling on the background. The mechanics are precise but fun, so good job!

This game looks amazing. The precise pixel perfect jumps you have to make make it very dificult, but not imposible. I had a lot of fun playing this one. :D

Some CRISP pixel perfect jumps in this one. Mama mia I had quite the time climbing through the level. The art is very pretty I love the character design!

Ok the spear mechanic turned out to be pretty sweet.  I ended up spamming it a ton when i was in the air and felt pretty cool scaling walls by spamming down on it.  I think at the beginning the player mechanics felt a little weird at first, but I kind of got used to it the more I played.  I just didn't expect the locking of the character once i committed to the jump, but I think i understand you might have went for a jump king like feel there.  I found the spear to definitely be the more interesting aspect of the game, rather than the player movement.  I think I would have liked a game with regular platforming mechanics in addition to the spear, because it can make for some really cool movement potentially.  Ended up playing for a bit and enjoyed it.

Love the player character art! This game is VERY challenging, I already suck at platformers so this was an another level entirely. Getting knocked back on impact with platforms is a very clever twist on an otherwise classic mechanic.

Would have loved it if there was music in the game as well! But all in all, an awesome submission! Best of luck c:

I like the idea of getting around by knocking yourself into walls and the spear mechanic, but I keep getting a bug where I got knocked even though I'm not in the walls. Other than that, solid game !

Solid platformer, very clean design. I'm not much good at this sort of game, but I could still really appreciate the work put into it. The physics and collision mechanic works well, and once you get the hang of it I could see this being an excellent speedrunning candidate. I could see this maybe becoming some sort of rhythm game maybe? And just overall could use some bgm or overall soundtrack. The base sound design is responsive and immersive, but overall nothing new.
