Did you work in a team?
Yes, I worked with PbmnLuv. It was great.
We did Programming, Art, Audio FX and Music together.

Was the resolution a challenge?
We never did a pixel perfect game before, so it was a brand new experience setting up the project.
Other than that, it was not that hard actually. The zoom-out feature made it possible to fit more stuff into the screen. The problem is the pixel-flickering when scaling and drawing objects, but we can call that style.

What did you learn?
This was our first game jam together, so you can imagine... Lots of things. You see, pair programming is different than programming, art design is different from pair art design... In short, it changes everything you see.

Nice mechanics… lighting fires were maybe a bit too frequent, made it really hard to recover water levels. A bit more work on balancing the gameplay seems to be needed for this to get to it’s full potential. Nice job!

really a great idea and some good ideas here, but the difficulty is too high and too low,. You don't need to commit to your jumps, but you also get fried very quickly by lightning that doesn't choreograph  very much before it goes off. Also leaping over burning trees almost always kills me. Definitely a fun game but could be improved a lot. Good job getting it to this point.

Well I finally made it after many tries :P

I really love the graphics in this game. The atmosphere just feels so lively with all the movement and camera shenanigans and such. Overall it was a really fun unique game

Simple to learn, difficult to master. My raindrop never made it far—I am a poor custodian to the droplet—but the first time the "game over" screen came up, the (how to say without spoiling) floating background elements caught me so by surprise that I cracked up. A+ would evaporate again..

Hahahah we are really happy that you liked the game and it's "game over" screen :)
