I think I would be able to see and enjoy more of your unique gameplay elements if the following were addressed.

1. When the taxi cab collides with the world geometry, it's a very "sticky" collision that stops the car almost entirely. There are collision detection and response algorithms which allow the player to smoothly glide across surfaces, and I would certainly put one of those in this game.

2. I'm not sure if it's your engine, but I did notice occasional flickering and the seams of tile areas showing up.

I think if there was a time limit that affects the cash you get would make this a little bit more fun to play.

So, the concept of this game seemed like I would really enjoy it, and I still think it has potential.

I did have a bit of a frustrating time with bumping into the grass. I wish that the game let you mess up more. For example, you could let me drive on the grass, but make it cost money for every second you weren't on the road. Maybe you had to pay repair fines at the end of your ride.

I think if the controls were a bit more forgiving this would have been a really fun experience.
