Won’t repeat what everyone else has said about the camera and the platforming.. but I will say, this minimalistic abstract style works really well for such a lowrez game. This doesn’t really feel like it’s only 64px, which is a pretty good achievement.
This was a fun platformer! I'll echo what others have said about the camera being off-center when you are moving left, making it harder to hit jumps in that direction. Other than that, the graphics were easily readable and the controls felt good!
Thanks for your opinion. Camera's problem is fault of the resolution of this game. This game has Aspect Ratio 1:1. If I would make a game with Aspect Ratio 4:3 or 16:9 it will be better with this camera.
Love the game so far! I was wondering if there was anyway you could make it so the camera scrolls when the player is at the center of the screen. Sometimes it feels like I can't properly reacting in time to land on a platform. That very much feels the case because of where the camera is and where the player on screen. Also the gravity feels a bit too heavy so when you mix the two together the platforming feels heavy and unfair. I would suggest a bit of lighter gravity. Otherwise I like where its at right now!
Thanks. Probably you play in HTML5 version, which is slower. The Windows version is a bit faster and gravity is more light.
