Team or Solo?
"StormTruck" (me) did the pixel sprites and animation, while "Susej" did all the programming. Susej is new to Game Development while I have been doing it for the past 7-8 months. The majority of this game was done by us two, but we did have some small contributions (" look under Credit section")
Credit:
Small contributions by the following people
Lime (Comic "cutscene")
Sami A. (Music for Comic "cutscene")
Horus & ShyFrost (Programming support)
Lazer (AntQueen Voice)
How/where did you put the theme in your game ? (in short)
While brainstorming we quickly thought of Goldeneye 64 and being a spy is considered as foreign entity. We decided on an idea involving the player controlling an ant-spy in a 2D environment. The goal is to sabotage enemy ant colony.
Did you (you or your team) do the graphisms yourself?
Yes. Only exception is Lime who did the "cutscene" graphic / comic. The rest of graphical elements / assets was made by me.
Did you (you or your team) do the musics and sounds yourself?
No. Sound effects from freesound.org and zapsplat.com
Comic cutscene music by Sami A.
Level music from zapsplat.com

Very fun :D
Happy to hear that! :-)
As much as I hate dealing with ants, this was really fun to play and had great sfx, music, and made me feel like you could make it into a series. A little unsure how I beat the queen I got the food and eggs smashed and then had the queen knock down the rocks in every corner then victory! great job keep up the good team work as well. Build on top of your strengths, that is how you get a classic.
Thanks for you feedback. Much appreciated!
Pretty fun concept though currently, the game feels lacking. I suggest adding some puzzle elements or a simple combat system to make the game more fun and satisfying.
Hi. Thx! Yeah both of us who worked on this one agree the gameplay is a bit simple / lacking. Thanks for the suggestions, we will look into it should we ever revisit this project :)
