A stellar entry for the jam!  It was cool to scoot around as the squid and munch on a ship or two!  I found it rather funny that the little guys on the planets were more dangerous than the space ships.  As a recommendation, some contrast between the characters and background would be very good.  Even if it's just a light cartoon outline, it would help define our creature compared to the background.  That would be especially helpful in figuring out which way we are pointed.

All in all, a really fun entry!  Gonna go nom on some more ships!  Keep it up!  :D

Fun gameplay and concept. And I particularly enjoyed the action of bringing your prey to your mouth with the mouse.

Two constructive comments, You can survive indefinitely by being an ambush predator and just letting the ships come to you.

And a story would be great. Is it an evil space quid? Is it just a predator? Why are the spaceships hunting it? Is it a metaphor for the oil industry in 80's? haha

Anyway, It was fun, and that's what matters in the end :)

Great job! The visuals and audio were stellar along with the UI. The game was nice and reminded me of the game SWARM, but with you playing the enemy and fighting against the main protagonist. Very impressive work!

Great work on the game, space looks fantastic! I only sometimes had difficulties seeing my squid dark on dark. Overall the game was so much fun and I hope the space squid doesn't get a bellyache the next day, that was a lot of canned food after all. Great game!
