This was a good location-based adventure for a 1-shot, cool area populating a hex, or otherwise. I'd love to see this fleshed out with more art for the monks, and the abbot, and the other great material. I think if you added some smaller zoomed sections of the larger map alongside your room descriptions, it would help a bit for use at the table. Definitely filing this one away for my game.
Thanks for the comment! I hope your table enjoys it!
I’ve italicized and underlined some of the important terms. I hope that’s helpful. I wanted to get some edits in before the jam was officially over, but I will rework the text to be easier to use.
I like that is is straight to the point, with no unnecessary frills. Artwork and thematic layouts are great, but really it's the adventure that matters most. That said, breaking up things like monster stat blocks and items, or bullet pointing important notes in room descriptions would be a nice addition.
There are some interesting ideas presented. I especially liked Vivian Crommon's description and, although you said not to, the last sentence did make me laugh.
Thank you for your comments!
I’ve always loved the Muppets! Glad you were entertained!
SofGB makes me recall my lifelong love for Jorge Luis Borges. An author's search for their Golden Book is perhaps the most sacred of quests. For further studies, I recommend Ficciones by JLB.
Thanks for commenting! I will have to find a copy of Ficciones!
Great work! I liked the tone setting and ambiance, great descriptions through out. The main trap and all of the monsters were interesting with fleshed out mechanical elements. The paragraph sections would be hard to use at the table though, I'd want some additional summary bullet points and separating out the monster stat blocks so they can be referenced at a glance.
Thank you for the compliment! I’ll be bullet pointing the text soon.
I love the idea behind this adventure, but it's a little hard to read and use. It has several large paragraphs that make it difficult to quickly find usable information. Maybe bolding some critical information within the paragraphs would help.
Thank you for the comment and the constructive criticism. I’ll be reworking the text soon.
