How does your game incorporate the theme?
In this game the player must connect remote harbours and establish a maritime connection between different locations.

Additionally, I took the following bonus challenges:
2. No text: Create a game that doesn't use any text at all.
3. Mouse only: Your game should be fully controlled using only the mouse.
6. Cross Dimensional: I used 3D objects in a 2D world.

Moreover, this game is going to be cross-posted with https://itch.io/jam/melonjam5 which has the theme "flow".

Hi! Very nice game, gives cosy feeling.

Checked your ideas for futher development and I think you are at right direction with “Time pressure”. On the other hand, restricted moves count would make it challenging too, driving game more into puzzle genre - not action game.

One more thing I’ve noticed is that ship vs ship collision exists but isn’t changing anything right now, doesn’t raise any difficulty at all. Perhaps this could make some interesting mechanic - like changing ship’s direction.

That is something that indeed I wanted to explore and already coded for. I realized it made the game much more difficult and since I didn’t have proper time to balance it I just made the ships wait and reset after a little. Glad to see your comment so I can further explore that. The restricted movement is also in place as I can have fine control on which arrows are available for each puzzle but I found that broke the freedom of other players finding other solutions I had not anticipated and didn’t look fun.

Had fun playing it. loved the music and the chill vibes. Great work
