Theme interpretation
The game is played inside a fusion bomb, where the player can collect electrodes and be hit by particles.

Players Notice
The game is best played on controller, and performs better on the downloadable exports

The game looks really great, it's super clean and minimalistic, yet it looks really stunning when there are more things going on the screen. Gameplay is simple and easy to understand, yet it felt a bit too easy at times. The game also didn't increase in difficulty the longer you played, nor did it introduce new mechanics to make the game feel fresh. For my first playthrough, I easily netted 1530 while surviving for more than 7 minutes, and I think this harms the overall experience from an otherwise nicely made game. The ending is fun though.

Other things I like:

  • Easy to understand life mechanics, though 8? lifes with refilling is a bit too much
  • Trail effect looks super cool

Suggestions:

  • Triangle is a bit too rare, which I think makes the player feel really aimless. Consider decoupling it from health, but increase its rarity instead
  • The game lags a lot after the halfway mark of my playthrough

i love the game lol, specially that death screen only thing that i think that could be improved is that its really uncommon to find the triangles, it feels like shooting in the dark

Simple but fun bullet hell !

If I could improve 2 things, it would be :
- trail readability : the red particles trails looks like we would get hit by the trail too. That's fixed after a few minutes of playing, but that's confusing at the beginning.
- difficulty settings : sorry if I'm a tryharder at bullet hell, but it took me like 15 minutes to lose for my first game. I know you probably ran out of time, but a button for Normal / Hard mode would have been a good add.

Also, have you used some bullet hell optimisation methods. I know the Web build destroys the performances, but there are many things you can do if not yet : circle-circle fast collisions, not making a new object/instance/node for each bullet but store them in an array (because creating and destroying is cost-heavy).

But, what a lose screen :)

The biggest challenge in this game would be, to find the collectable items. There should be some kind of hint to guide the player to the collectable. Avoiding the red circles weren't really a challenge for me.

On the technical side, the gameplay on HTML version showed signs of incremental stutter over time, and the EXE version is missing the PCK file.

However, this was a good simple collect and avoid game. Tail effects were nice, and the ending was funny.
