The fighting felt fun and powerful and the game looked very nice, though a lil hard. Impressive!

Very cool game, it doesn't have much to do with Christmas and as already mentioned instructions would've been nice but all in all a great start to a game. I'd love to see where you take it.

I really like the combat. The art style is very pretty. There are a few bugs, The player can walk off the level and avoid enemies, the UI also scales oddly on the pause menu. I found myself a little confused as to what i'm supposed to do though. It seemed pretty clear that the red meter was my health and the blue meter was some kind of stamina, beyond that I'm lost. Perhaps simplifying the UI and showing only what is crucial for the moment would help fix this. Overall very fun. I just wish it was a little more easy to understand, and a bit longer.

Tbh I expected more from this game. It felt like the development was mostly the graphics and not really the gameplay. There were several bugs like the credits not showing or going out of the map. You can break stones but what for? The camera just wasn't in the middle most of the time which was very annoying. There is a whole inventory on the right side but it isn't used for anything. And the gift boss at the end feel like it was just shoehorned in. What does this even have to do with christmas? Graphics are 5 stars but the rest not so much.

thanks for the comment, the resources increase your stats but it's not communicated well... I'll add it to the description, the boss was rushed as you felt, I spent most of the jam getting animations and renderers to work, only area where I am disappointed by myself is that I made 5 tracks for the game and I choose last one as I thought it fit the best, but since you didn't mention it it also was probably too short to be good and not good enough overall, thanks for playing

I don't have a problem with the audio. The music is quite nice and the SFX are good (but the sound that comes when you get hit hurts my ears)

wow an extremely interesting game! the combat feels pretty juicy! tho I am unsure what the other resources are used for, they seem to look like an abandoned concept?

Also Merry Christmas :D

thanks for playing!!! The resources are used to increase your stats but it's not communicated well in the game sorry! We're going to fix the game as much as we can because I want to make a game like that but without Christmas theme, I loved making it so I'm kind of sad that it didn't show through the bugs and issues that I put 100% effort in, anyway thank you for the comment

There's a game-breaking exploit where you can just walk out of the map and you can't be attacked but you can attack the enemies. Other than that the game is pretty sick though.

Developer

thanks for playing! For now I'll try just putting an invisible wall there, maybe in some later versions I'll put a proper border there or maybe tile another map when you come close to the edge idk, Merry Christmas ⛄

I've been (already :c) informed that boss might cause a purple screen to happen, this is due to bad scene loading, there are only credits there if it does not work for you so you can safely alt+f4! Thank you for coming!
