Nice graphics and an interesting idea. The enemies might need some tweaking because you don't control the ball most of the time. Maybe they should move in formations or stop from time to time to give the player a chance to attack them - whether this works needs testing.

So yeah, good job on the game, and I think you've got plenty of options to improve it

Thanks for playing. What you played was an endless level/ arcade mode. I have Normal Breakout levels where the enemies shoot at you but it was both boring and difficult since I had not made any power ups yet. I will improve this game in the near future so please stand by.

The background is just beautiful!
Other than that, there's not much of a game to talk about. I assume this is unfinished :)

The aliens that come towards you should have some more interaction with, like taking damage if they reach the bottom or if they hit you.
Also, gotta have some sound and music!

Thanks for playing my game. Yeah the game is hella undercooked. The background is a wallpaper I made 1 year ago. I call it Orbits. Also I made sounds and a soundtrack but I didnt have time to implement them. (Its definitely a vacuum in space so you cant hear anything anyways)

I really liked the art and the idea of mixing Pong and Space Invaders together, with some additions it would already be a cool mobile game to pass the time, with more levels and ways to fight enemies.

Bonus points for the chosen engine being Godot, I'm happy to see more games being developed on it <3

Keep it up comrade :D

Thanks for playing my game! I was short on time(Most of my time was spent trying to implement the ball properly) therefore I couldnt make the game how I envisioned it. What you played was the "Endless" level/ Arcade Mode. I made normal breakout levels with shooting enemies but the game was boring since I didnt have any power ups made. I will however work on the game some more and publish both a Windows, Web and Android version. Please look forward to it.

In regards to the use of  Godot, I was a Unity User since 2017 and had never made a "complete" exported game however since this years' Nokia game jam, I was able to publish a fully playable game called Astro Impact! DM in just a week. I followed a tutorial but everything just made sense! The engine was snappy on my decade old Ultrabook, used less space and Memory and GDScript makes so much sense to me as an intermediary programmer/Hobbyist game dev. I was impressed by it I ended up converting all my current projects to it. I still havent learned everything and the tutorials are a bit sparse (With the change to GDscript 2.0 and all) but I will use Godot as my main engine for the foreseeable future.

Well, the game is pretty unfinished so my ratings will obviously not be good, but I like the sprite choices and the retro-style gameplay, keep working on the game and learning Godot. Submitting is already an amazing step in the right direction so keep it up!! would love to play the more complete version when you're done.

Thanks for playing my game. The ball was the hardest part to implement actually lol.

The game should have a menu, a lose/win condition, a score system and a pause button, sound and music would help a lot too. The background is cool, i like the sprites for the enemies, i hope you keep improving in your game development journey!

Thanks for playing my game! Also thanks for the criticism. I was actually working on the Score and Lives system but it was taking more time than I was expecting so I didnt add it to the final game. I however agree on the menu and Win/Lose conditions. What you played was the "Endless" level and I have some traditional Breakout/Arkanoid Levels but they were so boring since I hadnt made power ups yet so I chose the endless level instead. I will however continue working on this game in due time. Please follow and look forward to it.
