How does the game fit into the theme?
This game is about patience and growing plants over time with almost no man-eating flora! You will see how the setting and feel changes over time!

What premade assets did you use if any?
Synty assets were used (I'm brand loyal) along with "Old Woman Anims" by RasterZ Animations.

All sounds were free from OpenGameArt or Freesound.org

What are the Discord usernames of everyone on your team?

really cool! would be nice to have more to do each day (though I understand the time constraint limiting that), granny with a shotgun was funny. I liked how the vines grew in the background over the day, added to the atmosphere.  i think adding a different walking sound effect when walking on the dirt plots could add a lot more immersion, and maybe some more feedback like health during the boss fight. overall its a cool game, i like the concept and the atmosphere, really cool that you managed to make it in such a short time frame!

Besides granny being slow as a grandma is, was a quite little game for sure.
-could have been more fun if there were some more things to do on the other days, besides watering but not much time to make a game.

I liked the whole "Little shop of horrors" reference.

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely had more interactions I was trying to implement (fertilizer, raking leaves, clearing vines etc) but I had to cut in order to make the deadline :) Thank you for playing, it was a joy to make!

The game looks amazing for being made in 3 days!

There are some parts that I think could be improved on though

The interaction hitbox is a bit weird, I'd be on top of it but I need to be moving to interact with the environment (picking up items, planting the seeds all that stuff)

The beginning part of the game feels a bit too slow. I know it's part of the "over time" theme but since the grandma already moves quite slow and the watering part takes some time, I think either you can shorten the watering part or add some sort of  new goal for the day like giving composting

Other than that I had a really great time! The final fight was fun and worked really well with the grandma's movement

Looking forward to more stuff from you!

I appreciate you!  I struggled with the interaction system implementation for sure.  I think I revisited it at least 3 times (sphere traces, line traces, overlaps) and with the time constraints I just had to settle on what worked best for playtesting in a minimal amount of time.  As for the slow early game, I had a few more systems to integrate, but they didn't make the cut with the tight deadline (raking leaves, fertilizing etc), but I agree, I could have shortened/sped up the animations.

I actually play tested the game at 4X speed haha

I'm glad you enjoyed the boss fight.  It was the first image that popped in my head when the theme was announced and I'm glad I could build to it :)

The best game on this game jam in my opinion

This comment is an intense motivator.  Regardless of the outcomes, I want you to know that this meant a lot to me as someone who has yet to publish a full game.

Shame the screenshots spoiled it for me a little, but awesome game!

I lamented over including it in the screens for a long time lol.  I'm new to marketing things and outside of the game jam, I didn't think an old woman planting things would be enough to get people to try it out.  I'm grateful for the feedback!
