How does the game fit into the theme?
The game fits into the jam's theme mainly through its overtime mechanic, as the game state changes to reflect office hours overtime if not enough work has been done by regular working hours.

During this period, the interactions between the player and office elements change, and every hour of work done is more taxing on the player's sanity. However, if by this time, not all work is done, the player will face a penalty to all stats.

What premade assets did you use if any?
Music: "Focus Loop - Corporate Music" - FreeGroove
Sound Effect: "swoosh-2.mp3" lesaucisson
Font: "Symtext" - Pixel Sagas

Hey so, I'm in this game and I don't like it

Jokes aside, really great game! The mechanics are simple to understand and you captured the vibe perfectly

Great game, I love it, played several times and surely gonna play more later. Even left my work, because of being too sane for it, story of my life 🤣

I realy wanna see all endings, but what sold me was the way how the choices are writen easy to understand so i can guess what stats they will give me without much thinking, funny and silly dialogues with chill music making good atmosphere, Only thing that i wasnt sure about while playing was the overtime hours how exacly they were working and the green bar i thought it was the amount of choices i made or smth but i miss out what this is for exacly, doesnt change gameplay that much to pay attention to it thats what i thought, Honestly ill come play it good few times to see the endings :3

Thanks for playing our game, and am glad you enjoyed it.

Probably should've had an introduction before we pushed you into the game, but the Green progress bar is for work done for the day.

Each day has a quota where the player must complete a certain amount of work, and not filling that quota leads to an overtime game state where each time you get work done, it taxes your sanity even more than usual, and the interactions between you and other characters change to.... nightly ones.

Cheers m8!

Enjoyed checking out your game too!

I liked the believable distractions; I punched my boss in the face and got fired so many times.  A prompt stating A/D on keyboard were how to choose options would have been helpful.  it was a little confusing since mouse click let me choose "start"

Hey, thanks for playing our game. Glad you enjoyed it 😁

The A/D controls are actually below the left and left option, but i guess we didn't make it obvious enough 😅

Definitely a lot of improvements to be made, considering this is the first game that we ever developed. But we're happy to be able to push this game out to the jam on time.

Cheers mate 😉
