Rating the game based on the judges' categories for fun

Gameplay

This was really confusing at first even after reading the game page for the controls, since none of the table functions are explained. I also got a little bit stuck in the flavor selection screen since there is no indication that you needed to use the spacebar to choose them. After some fiddling, I figured out what was the objective of the game

The game needs a lot more feedback, both in visuals and sound. It was easy to see since I was playing alone, but the cones should tell you which flavors are in them at the moment. There should also be an indication of success or failure when you deliver the final ice cream, as well as something that clearly tells you which order you fulfilled (like for example an animation of the order moving away from the screen)

I can imagine this being fun when played with friends, but it lacks polish

[10/20] -> Doubled to 20

Presentation

The pixel graphics were cute and well done, although I feel that there is a lot of empty space in the screen sometimes

Sound was nonexistent and it was really needed to set up the frantic atmosphere of the game

Overall, I felt not much is explained to the player through the visuals, other than the absolute basics of the game mechanics

[10/20]

Engagement

The lack of initial direction and the need to have 4 players for the core experience hurts this game in this area. The timer also felt pretty long, but maybe it was because I was playing alone. Overall I didn't really feel like playing another round

[6/20]

Potential

As indie games go, you have a seriously heavy competition in Overcooked. I know this is a prototype, but the game needs a ton of polish before it can start showing its potential. I would love to see an alternate take on what Overcooked started, but right now it is just using the same mechanics. I could totally see you figuring that out and going forward with it however

I got some bad news - I was unable to play this game on my Windows 7 machine. I get the error "The program can't start because XINPUT1_4.dll is missing from your computer". I did some googling and it looks like Windows 7 goes from 1_3 to 9_1 and does not have the 1_4.dll :(

Good news is, I also have a Windows 10 machine and was able to play it on that! Instructions were a bit lacking and controls were a bit awkward, but I had an enjoyable time and I LOVE the title. Keep up the good work!
