that spike jump man... too short, but I had fun and swore, so I can see this being something good when there is more to it. Right now it's a fairly typical platformer, but I see we have a glimpse of this musical aspect to the gameplay (which, btw, the music itself was very good too) which I think could be a cool & unique hook to turn this into a really cool puzzle/platformer. I hope you keep working on this so I can see your true idea come to fruition!

Hey! Thanks for the insightful feedback! We are glad you found the music to be good! If you ever are in need for music for games or anything, check up nownoir on soundcloud or email nownoirmusic@gmail.com.

yes! we will finish this game! and we will check out yours! DOJO MASTER (err depending on the size... once we get our internet set up for sure! takes like a forever to download at kbps speeds)

thanks for playing the Silent Sonata prototype!

The block got stuck halfway up the hill. I had to mess around with it a bit to get it not stuck. If you're going to have parts involving going downward, the camera should center the player character more. Other than that, I'm not sure what this prototype demonstrates. You've got a character that can jump, move and push, but barely anything that relates to the title.

Thank you so much for trying out the Prototype of Silent Sonata!

Yes, we regret that we didn't display more of the main game mechanic than we did. (interacting with the environment more with the Melodica/arrow keys.)

Learning the programming language C# and the Unity Game Engine from scratch took a large chunk of time from the Indie Game Making Contest 2018.

We believe that with this being our first step into the door of the Game Industry is on somewhat the right foot.

We hope to bring a better experience for you to play in the final build of Silent Sonata!

That's understandable. Good luck in the future.

Developer

Good luck to you also!

Great Concept would love to this explored further, plus I love the little melodica. I think the feedback from YourBr0ther on stream was on point. Hope we get to see more!

Developer

We agree that YourBr0ther was totally right, and we're glad that his feedback mirrored what we knew we needed to do in the future. Thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate your interest!

Very interesting proof of concept. My only complaint is that there isn't more to play! The melodica mechanic has a lot of potential, cant wait to see more!

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback, we are very excited to add more content, and are glad that it shows promise even from what little there is to play. We hope when more comes out, you will play that as well!
