Hi, everyone!
We hope you're not in panic right now to finalize your projects, there are only a couple of hours left. The submission period will close soon, but we'll be accepting late submissions until around tomorrow morning at 9am (French time). To submit if you're late, send us a link to your itchio game page via Discord, or email (contact.theicehouse @ gmail), and we can generate a unique submission URL for you (the time of your message will make proof). These "last chance" URLs will be sent tomorrow (or Monday) during the day - we're all tired after the Jam! So don't worry if it takes some time, it doesn't necessarily mean that your game was refused. However if we refuse to submit a game that was late, there will be no explanation.
We're excited to see that there are more than 10 entries already, before the end of the submission period. We want to thank in advance all the participants for their creativity and enthusiasm during these 3 weeks, and we're looking forward to taking a look at everyone's projects. Even if you didn't submit anything finally, it was great to talk to you on Discord, Twitter or itchio, and we hope you will keep in touch and follow us in the future to continue to create and learn.
This message will conclude the Icehouse Jam 2019 active period but it's not the end: we will soon discover the totality of the games submitted, and then begin the voting process. The public votes will be very short, so spread the word actively in order to make sure that you and your friends will play and vote before December 4. This period of public votes is for the fun, because the serious things will come after, on December 5 when the Judges will play your games in private and decide of the winners (check the page if you want to know more).
We will continue to keep you updated from time to time until we can announce the winners of the Prizes. One more time, many thanks for your participation and creativity! We can say that the first Icehouse Jam was a success and we hope to see you again next time!
