Hey everyone!

A short message to keep you updated on the Icehouse Jam, which has been running for a week already. Two more weeks remain for the participants. Will you be there at the finish line to encourage each others and to play the games created for the occasion? :) We're counting on you!

So far, several games have already been announced! You know that the theme is "An old game that you loved", right? So here's a non-exhaustive list of games in development (in complete disorder):

- Game inspired by Zork, by Yazorius

- Game inspired by Dungeon Keeper, by Esmeralda

- Pity of Thieves, inspired by City of Thieves, by tundish

- Game inspired by Conker's Bad Fur Day (and/or Metal Gear) with a GameCube style, by Nelos

- Francium At the Golden Saucer, inspired by Final Fantasy 7, by Simon

- Exile - The Lost Worlds, inspired by the Myst series, by Juanjo (aka Vairon)

- A game by Cryohydra

- Game inspired by Gobliiins, by Ormusto

- A retro pixelart game in a Kingdom, by Ellisjames20061

- A 2.5D platformer by Dancer

- Game inspired by classic board games, by So_Clutch713

Did we forget anything? If your game is not listed, and if you want it to be listed in the next short newsletter (Saturday 11), then please send us some detail on Discord! Check the page of the jam for more info https://itch.io/jam/icehouse-jam-2021

Thanks a LOT to all the participants so far! That's already up to 11 games that have been listed! It's incredible, we don't believe it!!

Now, who will make it to the finish line? There are rumors saying that Juanjo is having hardware issues... Please send good vibes to the participants :) We're really looking forward to discover the finished creations...

Have fun!

The Icehouse admins,

Simon, Juanjo, Roger
