I must say I'm not a fan of FF7 but you've done a fantastic job, congratulations!
It's super fun and on top of that you've created different versions with different styles, WTF! 😱👏
Thank you!! I think the story of this game is not very clever lol, but indeed I tried to make it fun, with many rooms to visit.
I don't know if the different versions that I uploaded are of interest, but I thought it could be nice to add them :^)
Congrats also for your 3rd place with another atmospheric game with impressive graphics!
Holy cow, this is a huge world! And those cutscenes! How did you do all of this in 3 weeks, that's incredible! This was a very fun world to explore and I like how it had multiple games in one. The music was very catchy too.
I haven't played Final Fantasy 7, but after watching some clips of it I can see similarities. I think you did amazing! If I absolutely had to pick something to comment on I would say that I had a hard time spotting the arrow symbol, but maybe I will see more of it as I continue to play! I think maybe there is so much to explore and have fun with, I forget to look for it :D
Thanks for playing it and for your kind words FrinjGames! I'm very happy that you liked it!
yes I worked very very hard on it in 3 weeks, but I'm a fulltime creator, so I could dedicate to it all day long (on the contrary of students or workers who only participate in their spare time). That makes all the difference...
Besides I master my tools quite well after 20 years of experience with 3dsmax (only 1 year with Unity however).
And I didn't do the music myself ^^
So don't worry if I did a lot, and don't try to compare with me! Just enjoy what you're doing and you will continue to learn and progress! And also, have fun when you play the games created :) That is the most important ^^
According to the game you did for our Icehouse Jam, based on Pokemon, it seems that you enjoy japanese games? If it is the case, you HAVE to play Final Fantasy VII sooner or later! Please get the original version (on PC or console), not the new Remaster, if possible (but you can certainly play it later). If you like the world of Francium, and if you like Pokemon games, I think you will love FF7!
The arrows symbol is not easy to see on the first spinning wheel, indeed. But you will see it better at the end of the game.
I think that the game might be a little bit difficult if you're not used to adventure games. You can easily get stuck or lost if you miss an important dialogue, don't find an item, or forget to do something. You have to be careful when you play, and I know that this is not to every players' tastes ^^
I plan to try to add Objectives in an update to help players know what to do next. Will see if I have the time now that the Jam is over. Anyway have fun!
Thank you for the encouragement! Your game and the other games in this jam have been very inspiring. I have a lot to learn but I am excited for the journey and I'm having a lot of fun on the way!
I do enjoy Japanese games! I think you are right that I will like FF7, I've been recommended FF a lot but still have yet to try. I'll add it to my list of games to play!
Congrats on your game and I'll keep an eye out for updates!
A new episode of Francium! Yay ! Obviously, we have a nice deep story, references galore, varied gameplay, many places to visit, plenty characters to talk to, for a quest that is as interesting as it is fun. These three weeks have been intensely used to achieve such a result. We obviously have the theme "New Beginnings" which comes back regularly in the story, and we find easily the imposed graphic symbol. English only, but that's far from being a barrier in itself. With the addition of French and some very small improvements, this episode has everything to join those already made to bring a new touch of delirium to the world of adventure video games. It's colorful, fun, intuitive and teeming with detail. A very nice submission for this game jam. Well done !
Thank you Yaz ! Can't wait to play your game too :)
